The Broadcasters

The Broadcasters is a powerhouse 4-piece band made up of seasoned UK musicians who’ve toured nationally and internationally,Across various bands and projects, they cut their teeth on the road, in the studio, and on some of the country’s most iconic stages.

Collectively, their past experience reads like a rock ‘n’ roll résumé:

  • 🎙️ Recorded several albums, including one at the iconic Abbey Road Studios.
  • 📻 Performed a BBC Radio session, also a live BBC broadcast capturing their raw, authentic energy.
  • 🎸 Opened for rock legends like Bo Diddley, The Bay City Rollers, Mud, The Troggs,Chris Farlow, and the Climax Blues Band to name just a few.
  • 🇬🇧 Hit the road across the UK and beyond, including a  slot at a major Norwegian music festival.
  • The huge The Americana festival
  • Appeared at the legendary Deeply Vale Festival, a grassroots music event that became a cult classic of the British festival scene. Their performance helped cement their legacy as part of the UK’s underground rock movement.
  • This was later honoured in a nationally televised documentary narrated by “Whispering” Bob Harris of Old Grey Whistle Test fame—highlighting their contribution to a pivotal era in British rock history.
  • Most notably, an album,Hotshots & Shotguns, originally released over 45 years ago, has been re-released multiple times and remains available today—an enduring testament to the timelessness of their music and influence.

These rich musical journeys eventually brought the members together—drawn by a shared love of vintage rock, swing, country and rhythm & blues.
